The department of Electronics and Telecommunication started in 1993. The department is housed in an ultramodern complex covering an area of 30000 sqft. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes creating an excellent learning ambiance. The department possesses experienced and qualified teaching faculty. Apart from academic activities, the department organizes various seminars and guest lectures for updating technical knowledge. The department has well equipped laboratories with modern and sophisticated equipment. The students of the department have always excelled in curricular as well as extra-curricular activities like sports, art, cultural etc.


Future Scope: Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering is a discipline dealing with the behaviour and effects of electrons (as in electron tubes, transistors and ICs) and with electronic device, systems, or equipment. The applications of electronics are in a wide range of products, including consumer electronics; telecommunications; diagnostics and treatment devices for medicine; audio and video; control; computing; data storage and retrieval; photography; measurement and metrology equipment; aviation and avionics; manufacturing; natural resource extraction; and early warning and radar. Electronics & Telecommunications has a major role in improving productivity in such diverse industries as aviation, telecommunication, entertainment, oil, energy, and agriculture.


Electronics & Telecommunications engineering is a constantly changing and widening branch of the engineering profession having applications in every discipline of engineering. Increased production and demand by government and businesses for communication equipment, computers and military electronics along with consumer demand and increased research and development on robots and other types of automation contributes to the growth of employment opportunities in the field. Candidates having a creative and inventive mind and also are good at physics and mathematics will probably find electronics engineering a challenging and lucrative career.
