Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha was founded in the year 1983 by a creative and dynamic visionary, Dr. Satish Chaturvedi. With his strong will, commitment, strength, determination and strategic support of Smt. Abhatai Chaturvedi, the Sanstha has developed from its humble beginning into a mammoth entity.
The mission of Sanstha is enlightened by the magnanimous mathematician, educationist and social reformer, Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak, who fought throughout his life for the cause of development of the society at large by rendering educational services from pre-primary stage to the higher levels of professional education. With as many as 25 different educational institutions under its fold, the Sanstha is committed to the cause of education and is one of the largest organisations devoted to uplifting the masses by providing education to all.

Established in 1990, Priyadarshini College of Engineering (PCE) stands as the
Flagship Institute of the Sanstha, leveraging a distinguished 35-year legacy to shape
globally competent technocrats. We are not just an educational institution; we are a
dynamic Center of Innovation committed to imparting academic excellence through
scientific inquiry, advanced technology, and a profound sense of Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR).
A New Era of Autonomy (Since 2023-24) Marking a watershed moment in our
academic journey, the institute was conferred Autonomous Status by the UGC and
Government of Maharashtra starting from the Academic Year 2023-24. This academic
sovereignty empowers us to design an agile, industry-aligned curriculum, implement the
National Education Policy (NEP-2020) effectively, and foster an ecosystem of
flexibility and innovation.

ABOUT INFRASTRUCTURE
Spread over a sprawling 72 acres,the campus is enriched with state of the art sports and recreational facilities. Well connected through rail, road and air,the campus is just at a distance of 0.5km from Metro station. In a built up area of approx. 32900 sq.m,the spacious campus houses the administrative building, Independent library building with more than 62,601 books, digital library,e-learning materials,619 e-journals,127 National Journals central computing facility with 100 Mbps internet connectivity and WiFi, workshops, gymnasium and an innovative waste recycling system, rainwater harvesting system, seminar halls, library, canteen and green gardens dotted with solar powered lamps.
The structure embraces within its fold, classrooms, drawing halls, Computer laboratories with more than 1872 computers. etc.

The institute is the center for IIT Bombay Remote center for learning through Video conferencing, NMEICT Project, Nodal center for virtual Labs, an initiative of Ministry of HRD and conducts regular NPTEL vedio Lectures.
The institute has a State of the art Infrastructure for hosting national level sports events , state of the art swimming pool for hosting national level competitions and hostel accommodation for 650 boys and 350 girls.
The institute upholds Capability enhancement support system in the form of R&D cell catering to development of specialized courses, Industrial research projects and consultancy Assignments.
The institute has a very active NSS/NCC UNIT, encouraging students to be sensitive towards societal problems.
