About the Cell:
This cell is formed to provide an awareness that encourages and motivate the students interested for higher education to peruse their dreams and provide an atmosphere that is conducive to prepare for various entrance examinations.
This cell provide a platform through which one can improve the capability to determine, develop and deal scientifically complex problems, as well as analyzed and provide the possible solutions.
Objectives:
To develop the awareness about Higher Studies like PG( Mtech/MBA) ,Abroad Studies (MS) & Competitive Examinations such as GATE/UPSC /MPSC etc. To provide the detailed knowledge about the subjects. To develop the skill to complete the analytical problem within the time. To develop the technical skills for interviews. To develop the basic knowledge for higher studies preparation. To develop the competency for the preparation of competitive examination.Role & Responsibility:
Arranging expert lectures by the external/Internal faculty members. To help the students to become familiarize with the course curriculum of GATE/IES etc. To provide a plan for effective subject learning process. Categorization of subjects, giving them relevant notes and information about the required books. Collection of papers of last 5 years of various competitive exams. Preparation of solution sets.To conduct GATE classes. Preparation of time table and allocating classes. Conduction of classes on Saturdays and vacant slots of regular time table. Take regular mock tests of the students. Informing result after evaluation. Taking feedback from students. Preparing Impact analysis of feedback form and action taken. To aware students about exam pattern (GATE, IES, CAT, IAS, GRE, TOEFEL, GMAT, UPSC, MPSC etc.) by organizing the session on the awareness about competitive exam. Interaction with students for any difficulty and personal counseling. Forming memorandum of understanding wit h reputed competitive exam study circles. To organize mock interview session by experts.AICTE-PRERNA Scheme
Grant of Rs. 7.85 Lakhs is sanctioned by AICTE for implementation of PRERANA scheme with the objective to help aspirant SC/ST students seeking higher education through admission tests like GATE/GPAT/CAT/CMAT/TOFEL/IELTS and GRE etc for year 2020-21& 2021-22 at institute.Program Coordinator
